Doberman Rescue of Nebraska (DRON) is a dedicated 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization committed to rescuing, rehabilitating, and rehoming Doberman Pinschers in need. Founded by passionate volunteers, DRON operates primarily in Omaha, Nebraska, and surrounding areas, providing a safe haven for Dobermans facing abandonment, neglect, or abuse.
At DRON, we believe in the importance of responsible pet ownership and the need for community support. Our mission is to educate the public about the Doberman breed, promote adoption, and ensure that every rescued dog finds a loving forever home. ZACH
Hi, I’m Zach. I started life in a backyard with little care and almost no food, and by the time I was rescued I weighed only 50 pounds and was sick with heartworm. Rescue saved my life, and with love and good care I fought my way back to health. In foster care I met my mom and my sweet foster sister Sugar; Mom had just lost her Mobility dog, and I knew in my heart I could help her. After a failed adoption, I came back home for good, trained hard, aced my test, and became her Mobility Dog. I went from starving and forgotten to loved, needed, and free—proof that God remembers.
